Disaster Recovery Services (DRS) and Orbograph Form Cooperative Alliance
DRS, Disaster Recovery Services of Charlotte, NC and Orbograph, supplier of OrboCAR Courtesy Amount Recognition (CAR) technology for image enabled transaction processing systems, have formed an alliance to ensure CAR/LAR backup capability for any DRS customer who is also an Orbograph end user.
Under the alliance, OrboCAR will provide DRS with CAR technology and training to ensure fully functional CAR backup capability for any end user’s system which utilizes OrboCAR technology.
"Ensuring that the CAR component will be fully available for disaster recovery plan testing and actual usage during a disaster will be key to an effective business continuity strategy" said Steven King, Certified Disaster Recovery Planner (CDRP) and President of DRS. "End-users should insist on verifying the reliability of their disaster recovery plans through complete testing of all image item processing software modules, including CAR/LAR technologies. This strategic alliance with Orbograph further strengthens both company’s continued commitment in providing excellent products and services to the image enabled transaction processing marketplace."
"This alliance provides Orbograph’s integrator/resellers with a resource they can point end users to that will be well prepared to ensure that the CAR portion of the system is fully functional and available during testing or an actual disaster," added Joe Gregory, VP Marketing at Orbograph.
